Section G6 SIE Recap 🏹

From August 21–23, Arrowmen from across Section G6 gathered at Theodore Naish Scout Reservation for our Section Induction Experience! Tamegonit Lodge was proud to host, bringing together Arrowmen from across the section for a weekend centered on Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service.

Together, we rolled out the new Induction Experience and equipped lodges across G6 to conduct their own ceremonies. Thank you to everyone who made this weekend possible!

Section G6 Operation Arrow Recap 🏕️

Three weeks ago, Arrowmen from across Section G6 traveled to the Summit Bechtel Reserve to serve on Operation Arrow staff at the 2026 National Scout Jamboree. From setup to breakdown, our section jumped in wherever cheerful service was needed, helping make the Jamboree run smoothly for thousands of Scouts and Scouters from across the country.

Beyond the work, it was a chance to build friendships with Arrowmen from lodges we don't get to see every day, and to represent G6 well on a national stage. Thank you to every Arrowman who gave their time and energy to make this Jamboree one to remember.

See you at NOAC 2027!

This Memorial Day, Section G6 pauses to remember and honor those who gave everything in service to our nation. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

05/22/2026

On May 2nd, Section G6 Officers and Advisers gathered for a full day of planning, goal-setting, and big-picture thinking for the year ahead.

The day kicked off with officers sharing their goals and visions for the section, covering everything from strengthening inter-lodge connections to building a more engaging and youth-focused presence across our platforms. The group also mapped out the section's upcoming events, including plans for a successful Section Induction Experience (SIE) to ensure every lodge is properly trained. And yes, this year's theme was officially decided, so stay tuned! 👀

To wrap up the day, the officers visited Science City at Union Station where they relived a little childhood nostalgia after a productive day of planning. We look forward to another great year for Section G6!
