Last week, our Foundation's Executive Director, Lara Anderson, joined an inspiring panel at the State of Philanthropy event hosted by the Kansas City Business Journal at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium.

Alongside leaders from PNC Bank and SchoolSmartKC, Lara shared insights on how corporate foundations and local partners can collaborate to drive meaningful, systemic change.

A huge thank you to the Kansas City Business Journal and the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium for hosting this important conversation and to our co-panelists for their partnership in elevating our community.

532 kids fed every day for an entire year.🩵

Last week, the NorthPoint Foundation teamed up with Feed My Starving Children for our annual GO FEED MobilePack event here in Kansas City. Our team, partners, and community members brought incredible grit and determination to tackle child-hood hunger head on. Because of your hard work, 194,400 meals are on their way to vulnerable children who need them most.

A huge thank you to our local event sponsors 451 Pizza, Casual Foodie, and Hy-Vee on 64th St. in KCMO. We are incredibly proud of our local community and so thankful for every single hand that helped us pay it forward.

A huge thank you to our incredible Presenting Sponsor, GORDIAN Design & Construction, Inc., for making this event possible and supporting our mission.

Congratulations to our 1st Place team, NorthPoint Development, and 2nd Place team, CSC Steel!

We couldn’t be more proud of our Cincinnati office for putting together such a fun and successful day. And we’re especially grateful to have our co-beneficiary, Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, there to share the importance of mentoring youth and the impact it has on our community.

Thank you to everyone who golfed, sponsored, volunteered, and helped make the day such a success. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

Our second Grand Gamble last week was an unforgettable night, and we are still buzzing with excitement and gratitude. Thanks to your incredible support, we raised a stunning $285,488 for the NorthPoint Foundation! 🎲✨

From testing our luck at the tables to exploring the silent auction and trying the wh***ey and w**e pull, it was a beautiful reminder of what happens when we come together to Live Generously.

We want to give a special shoutout to our high-rolling sponsors, Ferrell Capital and Cushman & Wakefield, and a heartfelt thank you to every guest, volunteer, and donor who raised a glass with us.

Last month, our Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicago, and Pennsylvania offices came together for our annual NorthPoint Foundation Backpack Drive. Together, we packed and delivered over 1,000 backpacks filled with school essentials to more than 50 local schools and community centers just in time for the new school year!

An epic, fast-paced Backpack War in bulky oven mitts between Nathaniel Hagedorn and Kelly Hill set the tone for the rest of the day! It was amazing to see all of our volunteers work together so quickly for the young students in our communities. We made an incredible impact, and we want to thank everyone who participated in making this volunteer event a major success.

In May, Tonya Huff and Horace Welsh worked with our Foundation to donate 1,730 books to Washington County, Maryland, pre-K and Title I kindergarten students!

The bookfair style events were held at all 25 primary schools in Washington County, with each child able to select their own book. "It was a pleasure to watch the excitement on the kids' faces as they walked through to choose their books, and to hear a chorus of 'thank you's'" Tonya said.

Special thank you to these amazing volunteers for putting their time and energy into this wonderful event!
