Back in 2005, the first youth that HALO supported were in Mexico. Now, 21 years later, HALO still pours love into those same kids!

The Lily of the Valley Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico, continues to be a place of safety, security, and creativity for youth in and around the community. Right now, you can directly support these children and others all around the world by becoming a HALO Tribe Member for as low as $5 a month - https://haloworldwide.org/halotribe/

Our first HALO Member Event of the school year were a great way to kick things off!

In September, local high school students in Kansas City and Jefferson City focused on career goals, financial literacy, personal strengths, leadership, and creating a brighter future. At HALO Member Events, youth are given the chance to learn, connect, ask questions, and explore new possibilities.

Want to be part of future HALO Member Events? Get involved by volunteering or sharing your professional experience as a guest speaker. Together, we can help create more opportunities for our youth! https://haloworldwide.org/halo-first-member-event-of-the-school-year

New machines and resources open the door to more skills and opportunities.

Youth at Solid Rock JC helped make this possible for HALO youth in the Uganda Learning Center to build skills they can use for their future.

The HALO Uganda Learning Center serves 1,200+ youth annually through life skill programs, peer support groups, therapy services and entrepreneurship programs.

At HALO, every day is an opportunity to explore, learn, and grow. HALO youth recently enjoyed an educational flower walk, where they explored nature, identified plants and animals, and learned more about the world around them.

A huge thank you to Veterans United Foundation for all of their hard work in our Jefferson City outdoor area project!

With the support of a recently awarded grant, Veterans United brought employees and volunteers together to improve outdoor areas at HALO residential and youth program locations. The project included landscaping enhancements, assembly of outdoor furniture, installation of recreational equipment, and the creation of family-friendly gathering spaces for youth and young mothers served by HALO.

Want to make a difference in the lives of youth in our community? We'd love to have you join our amazing team of volunteers! Click the link to learn more about this project and volunteer opportunities. https://haloworldwide.org/thank-you-veterans-united
