The cats heard about our Annual SPAYghetti Dinner Fundraiser for KCCR! and they were sad that they couldn’t go, so we decided to host one at the cafe for them, but we accidentally got our oregano mixed up with catnip! 😅😅😅 come over to our TikTok to see the results.

** PSA please don't feed your cats human food 😋 this was just for fun and enrichment!!

Inky’s rested and ready! She’s been training all year. 10/31 is kind of her Superbowl.

This weekend, we got a message about an injured kitten a concerned citizen found by an abandoned trailer.... He was lethargic and we were told had a "hole in his throat"

He was quickly seen at the emergency vet and after some diagnostics they said it looked like he was likely attacked by another animal. He was in rough shape and the hole was all the way through his trachea, making it impossible for him to even eat or drink 😭

We determined it was best for him to pass peacefully 🌈

Sometimes, we don't get the outcome we want. This little guy (named Salem by his finder) didn't deserve this, but we are grateful he was found and brought in so we could at least end his suffering.

And we can only do that with your support. It sucks to try and fundraise for a kitten who passed away, but we are so appreciative that we were able to try, thanks to you.

Please like, comment and share his story, and donate if you are able. Your donations help ensure we can continue to say yes to helping kitties in need like Salem. Rest peacefully sweet boy 💜

Had a blast at the Michigan Pet Alliance conference this past weekend!! Got to connect with lots of fellow animal welfare folks, got lots of cool ideas and learned a bunch!!

We also got to tour Macomb County Animal Control to see all the great work they're doing, and I of course stopped at a couple cat cafes before heading home!! 😺😺

Us humans have to continue to be the voice for ALL animals in Michigan 🐾💜
