Good research begins with a question, then takes patience, careful documentation, and the right tools. Through the KRG Discovery Project, we’re raising $30,000 for a professional LiDAR drone system and portable presentation equipment. Our goal is to document landscapes and historic features in greater detail, then bring that work into community spaces through screenings, maps, and educational presentations.

This is an investment in how we study, preserve, and share Hawaiʻi’s stories. The campaign includes equipment, mapping software, training, and the practical support needed for responsible aerial research.
