Our Ernie Els Autism Golf Clinic at TPC Harding Park was featured on KTVU Fox 2 News! ⛳

As part of our Golf Challenge regional event in San Francisco, children and adults with autism had the opportunity to get out on the course, practice their golf skills, and enjoy the game together.

Thank you to our autism partners, Best Buddies San Francisco and Pomeroy, and our golf provider, First Tee – San Francisco, for helping make the clinic possible. And thank you to KTVU for stopping by to capture the experience and share it with the Bay Area community.

Participants will have the opportunity to connect with other siblings, access mentorship and support, express their thoughts and feelings, and talk openly about their experiences. 💙

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)!

Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing stories from Els for Autism employment programs, highlighting individuals building skills, finding jobs, growing in their careers, and becoming more independent in the workplace.

We’ll also celebrate the employers creating opportunities for autistic adults and working to build more inclusive workplaces through U Can Employ (UCE).

Every career journey looks different, from preparing for an interview and starting a first job to learning a new role and taking the next step toward greater independence.

Follow along this month as we celebrate the people and workplaces showing what’s possible when autistic adults have the opportunity to work, contribute, and build careers.

When challenging behaviors happen, families need support, not judgment.

Meltdowns, aggression, self-injury, or leaving a safe area can be difficult and exhausting for families. These behaviors can have many causes, including frustration, anxiety, sensory overload, or difficulty communicating a need.

At Els for Autism, our behavior services and RUBI Autism Network Parent Training Program help families better understand behavior and develop practical strategies they can use at home and in the community.

Creative expression opens doors to confidence, connection, and new possibilities. Thanks to the generous support of the Lucas P. Wintrode Autism Foundation, more individuals at Els for Autism will have access to music therapy, dance therapy, and theater programs at no cost to their families.

Together, we’re helping individuals discover their creativity, build communication skills, and form meaningful relationships through the arts. 💙
