📚✨ Three weeks of learning & growing! ✨📚

Our new school is officially open, and our students are off to an amazing start! We’ve been having fun with our specials and enrichment activities from S.T.E.M. and Art to Español, Typing Class, and a visit from Deputy Miller our students have also been busy building strong foundations in reading, math, science, and social studies.

There’s been so much learning, exploring, and growing in just three weeks, and we couldn’t be more proud!

🎉📚 A HISTORIC FIRST DAY! 📚🎉

Today is more than just the first day of school. It is the FIRST DAY of the Edna W. Runner School! 💚💜

After months of planning, preparation, hard work, and prayer, our doors officially opened today to welcome our very first students.

For 40 years, the Edna W. Runner Education Center has served children and families in our community, and today we begin an exciting new chapter in that legacy.

We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, staff, families, Board of Directors, donors, and community partners who helped make this vision a reality.

Here’s to a year filled with learning, growth, opportunity, and excellence!

What an incredible day at the Edna W. Runner Education Center!

A heartfelt thank you to Signature Barber Academy, the Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County , Velocity Community Credit Union, Palm Beach County Office of Community Revitalization, the PBSO - Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, and every volunteer and community partner who helped make our Annual Back to School Bash such a success.

Because of your generosity and support, we were able to provide more than 250 backpacks filled with school supplies to local students as they prepare for a new school year. Seeing the smiles on our children’s faces and the excitement from families reminds us what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this event, thank you for investing in our students and helping them start the school year with confidence. We are grateful to have such an amazing community standing beside us.

Together, we are making a difference, one student at a time. 💙💚📚🎒

Today is a reminder of why we do this work.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate one of our Edna Runner Education Center families as they received the keys to their new home through Habitat for Humanity.

Homeownership is more than just a house. It represents stability, hope, opportunity, and a brighter future. We are honored to walk alongside families as they work toward their goals, and today we celebrate this incredible milestone with them.
