An incredible couple of days with the Spencer Brothers Foundation. ⛳️
Fort Freedom is honored to be part of the Spencer Brothers Foundation Golf & Poker Invitational — an event bringing together athletes, community leaders, supporters and Veterans around a cause that means everything to us: helping Veterans move beyond trauma and into lives of strength, purpose and freedom.
From the pre-event poker tournament on Kent Island to the exciting golf tournament along the Chesapeake, the energy, generosity and sense of community have been extraordinary.
We’re especially grateful to Pat and Cam Spencer and the entire Spencer Brothers Foundation team for welcoming Fort Freedom and creating an event that turns a great time into meaningful impact for Veterans.
And we’re proud to be here alongside members of the Fort Freedom family - founder Jerry Haffey, Chief Development Officer Chelsea Platas, Board Members Aaron Steinberg and Kathy Clouse, and, most importantly, two of our Veteran alumni, Josh & Anderson, who represent exactly why this work matters. Our Walk With A Warrior activation on Hole 8 allowed for genuine and valuable conversations between golfers and FF Veteran Alumni. Connecting our important mission to tournament participants.
