As a No-Kill shelter, Furry Friends allows the animals in our adoption program the time needed to heal wounded bodies and broken spirits before beginning their new lives with the very special people who open their homes and their hearts by adopting them. Furry Friends also believes that the answer to pet overpopulation and the suffering it causes is through sterilization, not euthanasia. Furry Friends has been a pioneer in low cost and juvenile spay/neuter since 1985. Furry Friend’s full service veterinary hospital is open to the public and is part of the overall charitable organization. Furry Friend’s veterinary clients receive top notch medical care from our three full time veterinarians and experienced and dedicated support staff. Our veterinary clinic is open Monday- Friday, 8am-6pm and on Saturday from 8am-1pm

Furry Friends Humane is here at Roger Dean Stadium for the Hammerheads vs the Tarpons game. Gates open at 5:30pm- First pitch at 6:30pm.

You can bring your pup to this game for FREE with the purchase of a human ticket. Purchase your ticket using this link https://www.gofevo.com/event/Furryfriends28, and $5 goes to Furry Friends.

If you don’t have a pup, don’t worry as Furry Friends will have some pups available for adoption when the gates open at 5:30pm.

This is what our Shelter to Service Dog Program has looked like lately. 🇺🇸🐾

Three service dog training sessions back-to-back, with veterans actively working alongside Tibor to train their dogs in tasks like detection, retrieval, bracing and other skills specific to their individual needs.

Then last weekend, we welcomed Gold Star and Blue Star families from Operation 300 and matched five families with emotional support animals.

Right now, three more dogs are in active service training with veterans.

Dogs who came to us needing a chance are now learning how to show up for someone else in an entirely different way.

This is Shelter to Service. And this is the kind of work happening here every week. 🇺🇸

Join us for Purrs & Peace: Sound Bath with Cats, a relaxing, one-hour experience where you’ll get comfortable on a mat while Liz Sandt, RN & Robbie Wanvestraut guide the room through calming sounds and vibrations using singing bowls and other instruments.
There’s nothing you need to know, do, or be “good at.” You simply lie back, relax and listen while adoptable Furry Friends cats roam the room, curl up beside you and do what cats do best. 🤍

Sunday, 8/23- Lake Park, Palm Beach Gardens & Jupiter store

Stop by to meet some pups available for adoption in all five stores 11am to 1pm, plus our 🐈 cats and kittens 🐈‍⬛ available for adoption EVERYDAY during store hours in the West Palm Beach and Stuart stores.

Can’t adopt, stop by anyway and learn how you can help by becoming a Volunteer at the Pet Store or Furry Friends, foster a pup or kitty or make a donation.
