Just in time for Spring Break!!

Our latest Blue Water Task Force (BWTF) report is now available for samples collected on March 12, 2026. The Blue Water Task Force (BWTF) is the Surfrider Foundation’s volunteer water quality monitoring program that provides critical water quality information to protect public health at local beaches.
About our BWTF testing:
- Water quality samples are tested for the presence of enterococcus, a f***l bacteria that indicates the presence of human or animal waste in the water. Elevated levels of enterococcus increase the likelihood that other pathogens may be present that can make people sick
- These results reflect a snapshot of conditions during our testing window every Thursday.
- Does not include testing for chemicals, heavy metals, or other contaminants.
- Testing procedure/analysis follows EPA standards for safe recreation.

Since our partner schools will be on break next week, we won’t have any quality updates.
