Tour de Trash is making a stop on Palm Beach Island! 🌊🐢

Join Loggerhead Marinelife Center and the Worth Avenue Association for a special Turtle Tuesday cleanup and help us make a difference for our local coastline and marine life.

With Jupiter’s own Tyler Cameron taking on Dancing With The Stars , we couldn’t help but join in on the fun with a Tyler of our own! 🐢 Our sea turtle patient, Tyler, just so happens to have some moves that pair perfectly with the Foxtrot, and all of us at Loggerhead Marinelife Center are rooting for Tyler Cameron as he dances his way through the competition!

Florida Climate Week is here! 🌊🐢

Join us this Wednesday, October 7th for our first By the Sea Speaker Series of the fall, featuring LMC Research Scientist, Dr. Katie Fowler.

In recognition of Florida Climate Week, Dr. Fowler will explore how a changing climate may impact sea turtles throughout their lives, from nest temperatures and hatchling survival to s*x ratios and beyond.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center is proud to partner with the School District of Palm Beach County to bring immersive sea turtle experiences to public school first-grade students throughout the 2026–2027 school year.📚

Through this partnership, students will dive into lessons on sea turtle nesting, environmental stewardship and the important role we all play in protecting sea turtles and their habitats. 🌊

We’re excited to inspire the next generation of ocean stewards, one classroom at a time!🐢

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with us! 🌊🐢

In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, Loggerhead Marinelife Center is offering complimentary Spanish Audio Tours for guests through October!

Explore the Center at your own pace while learning about sea turtles, ocean conservation, and our work in either Spanish or English. Audio Tours are limited, with 15 available on a first come, first served basis.

Jurassic is back in the big blue! 🌊🐢

Today, Jurassic returned to the ocean after receiving specialized care at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, marking an exciting first for LMC!

Jurassic is the first adult male green sea turtle rehabilitation patient to be satellite tagged by our team. 📡 As part of a collaborative study, his tag will help us better understand how green turtles utilize the Atlantic for migration and foraging. Jurassic’s tracking data won’t be featured on the LMC tracking page, but stay tuned for updates on our blog, and for more information in a future research publication.
