Thank you to everyone who participated in the fundraising raffle in support of Retired Officer Ricky Moore. Your generosity and willingness to step up for one of our own made a meaningful impact as Ricky continues his fight against lung and brain cancer.

We also extend a special congratulations to our raffle winner, Mike Lynch of the Palm Beach School District Police Department. Thank you for your support and congratulations on the win.

Standing together is what defines us, and this effort demonstrated exactly that.

The WPB FOP is proud to stand behind Retired WPBPD Officer Ricky Moore #1259 as he continues his courageous battle against lung and brain cancer.

Ricky has spent his life serving others—8 years in the Marine Corps, 26 years with WPBPD, 13 years shaping the future through the Explorer Program, and 17 years as a Drill Instructor for the Law Enforcement Explorer Academy. Now, it’s our turn to serve him.

A fundraising gun raffle has been organized to help provide the support he needs. Every ticket purchased makes a meaningful difference.

WPB FOP stands in solemn solidarity with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office as we mourn the line-of-duty death of one of their deputies. This heartbreaking loss reminds us of the dangers every law enforcement officer faces each day in service to their community.

We honor this deputy’s courage, dedication, and ultimate sacrifice. Our deepest condolences go out to their family, loved ones, and the entire IRCSO family during this painful and difficult time.
