Boston, here we come! 🚣

North Palm Beach Rowing Club is heading to the Head of the Charles Regatta this weekend, October 17-18, with 5 entries racing on the Charles River.

This is one of the biggest weekends in rowing, and we’re proud to have our athletes on the start line. Thank you to our coaches, families and supporters for helping get them there.

What a weekend at the First Coast Head Race regatta! 🚣

We’re proud to share that North Palm Beach Rowing Club finished as the TOP POINTS TEAM in Women’s Scull and Men’s Scull! 🏆

Also Congratulations to our Gold Medal finishes:

The weather beat the forecast and gave us good rowing conditions. Thank you to the regatta director, staff, and officials for all the planning and making the right call to skip the lunch break to finish racing early before the thunderstorms rolled in.

One of our favorite moments happened off the water. Seeing our NPBRC family together at the team dinner, in such big numbers, was truly wonderful. This is exactly the culture we want to build in our club, and we’re so grateful for that evening together.

THANK YOU to our athletes for carrying NPBRC to the top of the standings, and to our coaches, families, and club for all your support always!

We were on on TV! 📺

North Palm Beach Rowing Club was featured on South Florida PBS “On The Town in the Palm Beaches” with host Frank Licari.

The segment captures something we believe in deeply: rowing is a sport for everyone. You can row at any age, 9 to 90. We have young athletes just starting out, athletes who row at the next level in college and beyond, adults looking for a new challenge, and masters rowers who keep coming back season after season.

Whether you’re looking for a great workout, a supportive community, or a reason to be out on the beautiful Intracoastal Waterways, there’s a seat in the boat for you.

Olympic gold medalist Justin Best (men’s coxless four, Paris 2024) stopped by North Palm Beach Rowing Club on Friday and spent time with our Youth and Masters athletes.

In Justin’s words: “It was a great visit! Thank you all for having me. The kids all seemed to be working hard and getting good meters in.”

Justin was in town as a VOLO Health sponsored athlete, and we’re so grateful he took the time to meet our team.

The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for Matt Pawlowski, a 48-year-old paddleboarder last seen Monday morning off Jupiter Beach.

Sometimes the biggest acts of kindness can happen quietly…
and in shipping containers.

Just one day before the storm that wreaked havoc on our exposed boats, one of our NPBRC parents volunteered countless hours of their time to design and build custom oar racks inside one of our shipping containers.

Less than 24 hours later, those racks helped keep our oars safe when the storm that wrecked several of our boats swept through.

To the parent behind this project… thank you. Your generosity, time, and willingness to step in made a difference in ways none of us could have anticipated. It is people like you that make our club a community.

And to everyone who has reached out with messages, donations, offers of support, and encouragement over the past week… thank you.

This experience has reminded us that, while its easy to set our sights on our boathouse fund, we have something just as meaningful: a community whose selfless contributions go far beyond anything we could have asked for. 💙🚣
