💙 Pete's of Erie INC Convenience Stores Are Making a Difference for CASA! 💙

Throughout October, Pete’s are showing their support for CASA with an amazing fundraiser at all their locations! We are incredibly grateful to the dedicated Pete’s employees who work hard to raise funds for our mission and help make a difference in the lives of children in our community.

Stop by your local Pete’s, give what you can, and join us in thanking their team for their generosity and commitment to our community!

Thank you, Pete’s, for standing with CASA and the children we serve! 🙌

Thinking about becoming a CASA? Take it from someone who has been there.

With 7+ years of experience, CASA Jody Chance shared:

“Each of my cases had its own moments that remind me how much I love this program! If someone is considering becoming a CASA, I would say ‘DO IT!’ You will receive so much more than you give, and you WILL fall in love!!”

Say yes. Make a difference. Become a CASA. 💙

One CASA recently spent her evening cheering from the sidelines at the soccer games of her 6- and 7-year-old CASA kids. Another CASA showed up at school to play games and sing songs with her 5-year-old CASA girl.

These moments may seem small, but to a child, having someone show up just for them can mean EVERYTHING.

Our upcoming CASA Boot Camp is your last chance to become a CASA volunteer in 2026.

We recently gathered at the Cornell Complex in Joplin for Jasper County CASA's 2026 Advocate Celebration!

This special event gives us the opportunity to recognize the incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to advocate for children in foster care throughout Jasper County.

We are so proud to celebrate these advocates and the many hours of service they have completed — from visiting with their CASA kids and completing continuing education classes to attending team meetings, court hearings, and more. Every hour represents a commitment to making a difference in the life of a child.

Help us celebrate the following individuals who were inducted into our 100+ Hour Club, 500+ Hour Club, 1,000+ Hour Club, and 5+ Years of Service Club.

🌟100+ Service Hours
Vickey Brandal, Melissa Caruthers, Katie Eckerson, Kaycia Frieden, Cindy Gerace, Tasha Hardy, Teresa Henry, Robin Jones, Adrienne Mitchell, Stephanie Moore, Darrell Offutt, Curt Penland, Roni Peterson, Anne Tindall, & Alexa Warden

It was such a pleasure to welcome the Joplin Women's Investment Club to the CASA House for their monthly meeting. Seeing community members gather, connect, and share ideas in our space is one of the many ways CASA serves our community.

If your club, committee, board, or community group is looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to meet, we'd be honored to host you.

Interested in reserving the space or learning more? Contact Desireè Breidenstein at (417) 680-3250 or [email protected].
