ARM Prison Outreach International exists in order to honor God's calling by ministering to inmates as Christ commanded. As an arm of the church, our role is to help fulfill the biblical mandate of Jesus, " I was in prison and you came to visit me", Matthew 25:36, NIV. Our specialized programs are designed to proclaim the love and message of Jesus to the incarcerated, help lead them into a saving a

nd personal relationship with the Savior, build them up in the faith, and equip them for a lifetime of faithful service in the Lord's Kingdom.

Deep change rarely arrives all at once.

For men and women confronting addiction, rage, shame, or despair, progress can look small. One completed lesson. One honest confession. One prayer request finally spoken out loud. One different response chosen in a hard moment.

Those small choices are exactly what built toward Marcus's larger transformation, and our free, structured studies are built to make that kind of steady progress possible.

Cravings. Anger. An unfinished Bible lesson sitting untouched. Marcus almost quit that night, convinced that someone like him could not actually change.

However, he opened the Gospel of John again anyway, and truth started challenging the lies he had carried for years, not all at once, but slowly, one page at a time.

You may never step inside a correctional facility. Yet, a Scripture, a discipleship resource, or a completed Bible study can reach someone you never meet.

Right now, incarcerated men and women are confronting addiction, guilt, and uncertainty about what comes next. Your support helps place the exact resources Marcus needed into someone else's hands today.

Since 1973, we have been dedicated to taking the gospel behind bars so that prisoners find transformation and a new identity in Christ. Our mission is to ensure that every person, created in the image of God, has the opportunity to hear of a love strong enough to provide true freedom.

When you partner with our team through a one-time or recurring gift, you help us strengthen prison ministry for the long haul.

Your support provides the Bibles, study resources, and leadership training necessary to sustain churches nationwide - helping the light of the gospel reach the darkest corners of correctional facilities.

Will you join us in bringing hope and redemption to those behind bars? Support our mission at www.arm.org/donate.

Prison ministry is about more than the initial seed of the gospel. It’s about cultivating mature believers who can lead where they are.

Our team is committed to the idea that the same Spirit who raised leaders in the early church is still calling men and women behind bars to serve as shepherds today.

In our latest article, we take a closer look at how prison churches grow stronger when leaders rise from within to preach the Word and disciple others in the dayroom and the yard.

By focusing on spiritual maturity, we help ensure the church continues to thrive as a center for redemption and hope.

There’s a powerful truth about the church, no matter where it exists.

It grows strongest when leaders are raised up from within.

Inside prison walls, that means men and women stepping into roles of discipleship, teaching, and encouragement, right where they are.

The Gospel doesn’t just change lives. It calls people to lead, serve, and help others grow.

This kind of leadership builds a church that lasts, even in the most challenging environments.

Take a closer look at how this is making a difference at www.arm.org/articles.

Since 1973, our mission has been to take the gospel behind prison bars so that every person can find transformation.

We believe that no crime can erase the image of God in an individual, and our team is dedicated to helping prisoners hear the message of a Savior whose love can restore and repurpose their lives.

When you partner with us, you help provide the Bible studies and gospel resources that reach men and women in facilities nationwide.

Every gift is a mission-forward investment in a soul that is seeking freedom from guilt and shame.

Hope often travels through simple acts of care that remind those behind bars they are not forgotten.

Our team is honored to partner with DaySpring to provide more than 2.5 million greeting cards each year to correctional facilities, helping to deliver encouragement and spiritual resources where they are needed most.

In our newest blog, we share how these small gestures and shared scriptures help remind prisoners that they are created in the image of God.

Whether it is a card or a Bible study, these tools are essential for maintaining faith in a difficult environment.

What happens when the last volunteer leaves the prison? For many ministries, that’s where the work pauses.

But it doesn’t have to.

When leaders are equipped from within, the prison church continues to grow through discipleship, prayer, and daily encouragement shared between those living it every day.

A healthy church isn’t built on outside presence alone. It’s strengthened by leaders raised up on the inside.
