✨ TONIGHT IS NIGHT TO SHINE ✨

And it is our very first one right here in Joplin. And we are so excited!

Tonight is about celebrating our incredible special needs community for exactly who they are. Fully seen. Fully valued. Deeply loved by God.

In partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation, we get to be part of something beautiful in our city. A night where crowns are placed on heads that already carry royal worth. A night that reflects the heart of God, who delights in His children.

They are the VIPs.
They are the reason.
They are the light.

There will be crowns. There will be dancing. There will be cheering so loud the walls might shake. And yes, there will probably be mascara running because joy like this hits deep.

This is what community looks like.
This is what God’s love looks like in action.

To every volunteer and sponsor who stepped up to be a champion, thank you. You chose to show up. You chose to celebrate. You chose to shine.

👉🏻 Important Notice for All Volunteers 👈🏻

This is Stephanie Curtis from Faith Assembly. Thank you for signing up to volunteer at Night to Shine!!! We are excited for this event and being able to show God’s love while we honor and celebrate each guest!

1. Please be on the lookout and fill out the background check that will be emailed to you from Ministrysafe.com.
**If you have access to a recent background check, please email it to [email protected].
**Or if you had a background check done with Faith Assembly in the last year and a half, you will not need to do a background check.

2. Every volunteer must go through a mandatory on site training. This involves a few videos so we know how to best assist and interact with our special needs guests. Expected time for this is about an hour.

We have 2 options:
1. February 5th (Thursday evening) at 6:30 Downstairs in the gym.
2. February 8th (Sunday morning) at 9:30 downstairs in the gym.

Please let me know which one works for you.

3. Volunteers need to arrive at 4:30 on Friday Feb 13th. We will have a meeting to go over last minute details and then we need to be ready as some guests might arrive early.

4. What to wear: for most of the volunteer roles, dress nice. The event will be semi-formal to formal. Anything from business casual to formal will be great!

This will be an incredible night and we can’t do it without you!
