Join us Tuesday, August 18 at 9:15 a.m. for the next Thrive Joplin Strategic Planning Meeting as we turn community priorities into action.

We’ll be developing strategies and action teams around two important Thrive Joplin pillars:

🧠 Mental Health & Substance Use
• Strengthening everyday mental health supports
• Connecting people to the right help faster
• Expanding transitional and recovery housing
• Responding better to crisis
• Reducing stigma and growing community understanding

🏠 Safe & Affordable Housing
• Unlocking new housing in existing neighborhoods
• Opening pathways to stable homeownership
• Keeping neighborhoods safe and strong
• Raising the bar for better, safer rentals

Great news!!

GREAT NEWS, First Grade families! 🎉

Thanks to a very generous donation from our neighbors at Amcor and Golden State Foods, all incoming First Graders will receive a FREE backpack filled with school supplies! The backpacks will be available for pickup at Open House (5:30-6:30pm Thursday, Aug. 20).

We are so grateful for the ways our community shows up time and again to support great outcomes for Joplin kids! 🦅
