Last night, our Girls Enrichment Senior High girls learned a little more about what makes each of them uniquely them! 💙💚🧡💛

The girls took personality assessments to discover their personality “color” and explore the strengths each one brings to the table:

💛 Gold: Organized, dependable and responsible. Our planners who love structure and getting things done.

💚 Green: Curious, analytical and independent. Our thinkers and problem-solvers who always want to know why.

💙 Blue: Compassionate, encouraging and relationship-focused. Our empathetic friends who lead with their hearts.

🧡 Orange: Energetic, spontaneous and adventurous. Our creative risk-takers who bring the fun and aren’t afraid to try something new.

Learning about their own personalities, and how differently others may think, communicate and approach a situation, is another tool these young women can carry with them as they grow into confident leaders.

And because Girls Enrichment is about learning and making memories, we finished the night with a little Halloween fun and a costume contest! 🎃👻

Different colors. Different strengths. One pretty incredible group of girls. ✨

In the words of Dolly herself: “I’m the little engine that did.” 💛

And in 1989, the women of Junior Auxiliary of Jonesboro certainly did.

We’re celebrating the JA class and leadership who brought Dolly Parton to Jonesboro to help raise funds for projects benefiting our community. What they created became a special piece of both JA and Jonesboro history.

Now we want to hear from the people who lived it!
📸 Were you there? Drop your photos in the comments.
💭 Remember something special from the night? Tell us the story.
📰 Have a ticket, program, newspaper clipping or other piece of memorabilia? We’d love to see it!

To our 1989 JA members and leadership: thank you for showing us what can happen when a group of women believes, works together and decides, “We think we can.” 💙 We will miss Dolly Parton so much, but her legacy lives on with every child we serve in our community!

What an incredible way to kick off a new year of Girls Enrichment! 💙✨

We had an AMAZING turnout last night for our Girls Enrichment Junior High & Senior High Parent Meeting, and we are so excited about the year ahead!

Seeing so many families show up, ask questions, and get excited about what’s in store reminded us exactly why this program is so special. We’re looking forward to a year filled with connection, confidence, mentorship, new experiences, and plenty of fun!

Thank you to every parent, guardian, student, and JA member who joined us. Here’s to an amazing year of helping these young women learn, grow, and SHINE! 🌟

✨ It’s time to take the court for Charity Ball 2027. Play It Forward. ✨

Junior Auxiliary of Jonesboro proudly presents the theme for Charity Ball 2027:

PLAY IT FORWARD

More than a theme, Play It Forward reflects the heart of our mission. “Play” represents childhood, joy, and the opportunities every child deserves. “Forward” represents the lasting impact we can make when we invest in the next generation.

Through service, generosity, and community, we’re creating opportunities today that help children and families move forward tomorrow.

Every play has a purpose.
