As the founder of Spotlight Theatre, it’s with a full heart that I share some personal news: I’ll be leaving Jonesboro in early spring to take the next step in my acting career, with that being said, as an actor, you just never know where you will end up. This is a bittersweet goodbye, but one filled with gratitude and hope.
Over the past three years, Spotlight Theatre has been more than a stage. It’s been a home. Together, we created something special. We gave performers, directors, crew members, and creatives a space to shine, to grow, and to share their gifts with this incredible community. Watching that magic unfold has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
Though Spotlight will be on a hiatus going forward, the impact we’ve made will remain. Thank you, Jonesboro, for embracing us. Thank you to every artist who shared their talents and every audience member who believed in the power of local theatre. We leave behind a legacy of passion, inclusion, and creativity — and that will never fade.
