A Back 2 School Prayer

Heavenly Father,
As our children walk through the school doors tomorrow, we place them completely into Your loving hands. Go before them and walk beside them. Surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all harm, danger, and evil.
Calm every anxious heart and replace fear with courage, confidence, and peace. For those entering unfamiliar classrooms, new schools, or meeting new faces, remind them that they are never alone because You are with them. Lead them to genuine friendships that encourage kindness, respect, and love.
Lord, let bullying have no place in their lives. Protect them from hurtful words and actions, and help them be children who choose compassion, stand up for others, and reflect Your light wherever they go.
Bless every teacher, administrator, coach, bus driver, cafeteria worker, and staff member. Give them wisdom, patience, strength, and hearts that see the value in every child. May they teach with excellence, lead with integrity, and care with compassion.
Let this school year be filled with learning, growth, joy, and purpose. May our children not only grow in knowledge but also in character, kindness, and faith. Keep their minds sharp, their hearts pure, and their eyes fixed on the hope You have placed before them.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray.

Yesterday we celebrated 12 amazing organizations, and showed them how much the work they do in our community means to us. They were all chosen because they're special to our team, so we want to roll out the red carpet for the non-profits our team chose to sponsor this year: Project Access-East Tennessee, Visit Johnson City, Washington County, TN Animal Shelter, Brother's Keeper, The River, Isaiah 117 House Washington County TN, Children's Advocacy Center of the 1st Judicial District, The Magnolia Project, The Warrior's Canvas & Veterans Art Center, Ronald McDonald House Southern Appalachian, Jeremiah School, and 4thirteen 💙
