Meet Arietta!
She is a nine-month-old black lab puppy. Sadly, her former owner is in bad health and knew the best thing he could do for her was to allow us to find a more appropriate home for her. We admire this tough decision and are happy to have her join us here at AHHS!
Arietta's former owner was a dog trainer, so she's already been given a great foundation for success. Arietta seems to be potty trained as she has had no indoor accidents! She is also crate trained.
In typical Labrador fashion, Arietta loves everyone she meets! She is also dog-friendly. We feel she'd be fine in just about any home scenario, given her happy-go-lucky attitude. Just warning you..her happy tail has a mind of its own and might accidentally topple over a toddler! It is important to keep in mind that she is still a puppy! Arietta has lots more growing to do — physically, mentally, and emotionally. She needs an owner willing to work with her to help her become a great adult dog. Socialization, continued training, and regular leash walking are all important right now.
Arietta is a wonderful pup, and we know that there's a family out there that can really bring out all she has to offer! She's a very special girl.
**Due to the high volume of interest we expect to receive regarding Arietta, an adoption application will be required for pre-screening before a meeting is arranged! Please be patient with us as we screen applications.
