⚖️ Honored to Welcome Tennessee's Judicial Leaders to Northeast Tennessee!

This week, while attending the Tennessee Judicial Conference in Kingsport—where Gov. Bill Lee addressed judicial leaders from across the state—judges, court professionals, and community leaders took time to visit the Northeast Tennessee Regional Recovery Center in Roan Mountain.

We were grateful for the opportunity to showcase the life-changing work happening every day through recovery, restoration, and second chances. During their visit, guests toured our facility, learned about our residential treatment programs, and heard firsthand how collaboration between the courts, treatment providers, and community partners is helping individuals and families build healthier futures.

We are thankful for the judges, court professionals, and community leaders who continue to champion solutions that address substance use disorders through accountability, treatment, and recovery.

Together, we are strengthening communities, restoring lives, and creating pathways to lasting change.

☀️🏡 We Loved Being Part of the EHA Summer Kick-Off! 🏡☀️

On Friday, Families Free was excited to participate in the EHA Summer Kick-Off event! We enjoyed spending time with residents, meeting families, and sharing information about the services and support available through our organization.

As a community partner with an office located right in the heart of the housing authority neighborhood, we are committed to being accessible, building relationships, and walking alongside individuals and families as they pursue healing, growth, and stability.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello, ask questions, and learn more about what we do. We are grateful for opportunities like this to connect with our neighbors and celebrate the strength of our community.

We believe that healing happens in community, and we're honored to be part of yours!

At Families Free, we believe recovery is stronger when families heal together. ❤️🏡

Our family apartments provide safe, stable housing for women and their children during recovery — because no mother should have to choose between getting help and staying close to her children.

Here, women are supported, encouraged, and empowered as they rebuild their lives and strengthen the bond with their children.

Healing happens here. Families grow stronger here. Hope lives here.

We are incredibly grateful for the acknowledgment of the work being done across our region through the Northeast Tennessee Regional Recovery Center and our community partnerships.

Every life restored, every family reunited, and every person given a second chance is only possible because communities, leaders, and organizations continue to come together with compassion and hope.

We are honored to stand alongside so many dedicated partners working to strengthen our communities every day.

Thank you Jeff Orr Real Estate

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

“As we remember those who served, may we hold close the words of Scripture: ‘Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.’ — John 15:13

May we never forget their courage, sacrifice, and the blessings of freedom made possible through them.

Let all that you do be done in love. ✨
1 Corinthians 16:14

At Families Free, love is ever present on the forefronts of our minds, and the words from our mouths; in our waking, in our doing, our speaking, and moving. We strive to show love in the spaces it may have not been present in before.

Love looks like second chances, safe homes, hard conversations, healing, accountability, and hope.

Every meal served.
Every ride given.
Every prayer spoken.
Every life restored.

We believe real transformation happens when people are met with truth and compassion. ❤️

Today, may everything we do — in our homes, our recovery, our families, and our community — be done in love.

Monday was more than a ribbon cutting — it was a reminder of what happens when a community chooses people, healing, and restoration. Together with the North East Tennessee Regional Recovery Center we opened our second women’s residential facility in Johnson City.

The real victory is not just a beautiful home. The real victory is seeing women leave incarceration and walk into a space prepared just for them — a bedroom ready, a kitchen table set, a place that says: you matter here.

Our local leadership came together to make this possible because they believe in restoration. They believe people can heal, reunite with their families, get healthy, rebuild relationships, and create a new future. And we see it every single day at Families Free.

What moves us most is watching someone overwhelmed by the realization that their community cared enough to prepare a place for them. A safe place. A beautiful place. A place filled with dignity, hope, and healing relationships.

Because the common denominator in all the good happening across our region is PEOPLE.
These women. These families. These individuals working to rebuild their lives — they are our people. ❤️
