We had a very special visitor this morning! 🐾

“TriPawd Trooper” was recently rescued by one of our Salesmen, Chris Reed. He was born 4 months ago with one paw missing, but that doesn’t stop him from moving! He enjoyed lots of treats, snuggles, and a new Chewbaru!

Be sure to visit the Subaru showroom to drop off donations for the Washington County, TN Animal Shelter and get a Chewbaru for your pup🐶🧡

🚨 34 ANIMALS IN JUST 2 DAYS. 🚨

In just 48 hours, our shelter has taken in 34 animals. Behind every number is a life that needs food, shelter, medical care, and a chance at a better future.

We are facing a homeless animal crisis across our country, and our community is no exception. Here at WCJC Animal Shelter, we are doing everything we can, but the reality is that we simply do not have the resources to care for every animal in Johnson City and Washington County.

Our community is growing rapidly, and with that growth comes increased demand for animal services. We are also seeing animals being transported into our region from other states, adding to an already overwhelming situation.

We are a nonprofit shelter with limited resources, and every animal we take in requires time, care, supplies, and often medical attention. We want to help them all, but we cannot do it alone.

💔 This is not just a shelter problem. It is a community problem.

We need our community to understand the challenges we are facing. Responsible pet ownership, spaying and neutering, keeping pets safe, adopting instead of shopping, fostering, and supporting local animal welfare efforts all make a difference.

We are committed to doing everything possible to help the animals who need us, one sweet soul at a time. But we need our community beside us.
We are so grateful for every person and business that supports the shelter. We can not do this alone.
