Sunday, Pastor Trent reminded us of the *red letters* in Luke 6 that encourage us to rejoice and leap for joy.
Yes, we will face rejection at times. Yes, we will be hated at times. Yes, this walk will be costly. BUT--Jesus Himself calls us blessed when these times come.
We are blessed, and our reward is great in heaven!
So our challenge this week (and always) is to ACT LIKE IT.

So grateful for this reminder when times are tough!

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your STRENGTH (emphasis added). The second [greatest commandment] is: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other command greater than these.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭30‬-‭31‬

In talking about Jesus’s commands, these obviously take the cake because they are in red letters (words of Jesus, Himself), and He says these two, together, are the most important.

So Pastor Trent posed a very simple question to us on Sunday—
Are we doing it? Are we using all our strength and every ounce of our being to live for and love God and those around us?
