🌱 TN Stream Team Tree Planting Day 🌳

Join ARCD, TDF, UTIA and the TN Stream Team for a hands-on day of streambank restoration and tree planting at Tipton Farm in Washington County on the Nolichucky River!

🕙 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

🥪 Lunch will be provided. Bring a water bottle.

Be ready to get your hands dirty and learn practical techniques for protecting and restoring our waterways. Whether you're experienced with restoration work or simply want to lend a hand and learn something new, we'd love to have you join us!

The TN Stream Team enjoyed a celebratory Season 2 Kick Off Party on the Nolichucky River Wednesday evening!

Volunteers were reminded of their impacts during Season 1, updated on successes and lessons learned, and shown the opportunities that await us for stream bank restoration in Season 2!!

Our Season 2 schedule is filling out nicely. Reach out if you are interested in volunteering with the TN Stream Team. We would love to have you join us!

Two Years. So much has changed and so much has been rebuilt. We remain in awe of the beauty of our mountains and our neighbors. We hope that you commemorated this anniversary of Helene connecting with the people and the rivers that you love. If you want to give back and connect with some awesome people while being riverside in the great outdoors, come and join the volunteer TN Stream Team this fall and winter! This is a crew that we train in river stabilization techniques, you gain professional development, networks, and some nice perks, and it's actively building back better on the ground.
