We are a Christian not-for-profit organization, based in Jefferson City, MO, serving 300+ children in Haiti.

Current project: constructing a new school for the children of Marre Blanche.

Meet one of our kids:
✨This 12-year-old girl is currently attending 3rd grade and demonstrates good attendance and academic progress. The photo below is a picture of her when she was three years old and now at 12 years of age continues enjoying her education. She is in good health and lives with her parents, one brother, and two sisters. Her favorite game is playing hide-and-seek with her siblings and friends. She enjoys science and doing various science experiments. When asked what she wants to do after finishing school, she said she wants to become a seamstress. She has a positive attitude towards her education and appreciates the support she receives from her sponsor. 💖

Meet one of our kids:

✨This bright 15-year-old girl has shown remarkable dedication studying and maintains good attendance. Her favorite subjects are those in social science, and she hopes to work in commerce one day. She continues attending the school founded by Hope for Caribbean Kids, Inc. because of her generous sponsor who has truly made a difference in her life.

Meet one of our teachers:
Jean was born in a southeastern community of Haiti, where he completed his primary studies. 📚 After completing 6th grade, Jean attended high school and also pursued other specialized studies. He later went to Port-au-Prince to attend the university. However, after only one year, he could no longer attend due to his family's financial situation. He shared that his family had suffered many illnesses and setbacks, hindering their ability to financially support him. Jean shifted from furthering his education to seeking work. His first job was as a teacher at one of the national schools, but the income was not sufficient to meet his and his family’s needs.

But 🙌🏽 God! Jean was led to Pastor Jean Thony, one of the overseers of the school in Haiti founded by Iva and Richard Presberry through Hope for Caribbean Kids, Inc. He has been teaching there since 2019. He shared that it takes 3 hours for him to walk from his parents’ house to get to the school. Jean is dedicated and expressed his gratitude for the school and his job. He has since been able to improve their financial situation. He was pleased to share that he started gardening, and they are now able to pasture a few cows, goats, and sheep. He gives all glory to God. 🙌🏽

Jean teaches both 7th and 8th grades in Spanish and French, as well as physics. With your generous contributions, we are able to give our teachers a source of income. We appreciate Jean and his skills and dedication to teaching Haiti’s kids, and we appreciate all of you who make this possible.

Did you know Hope for Caribbean Kids supports an orphanage in Haiti? In 2020, a team member in Haiti informed founders Richard and Iva Presberry about this orphanage. The orphanage was located in what is considered to be the poorest of the poor in Haiti. After hearing about the conditions, they began to pray. Through generous donations, supplies for monthly food and salaries for three teachers were provided.

In 2021, an earthquake made the orphanage's already unstable building completely unsafe. However, as Iva often says, “There is nothing too hard for God.” Despite COVID postponing their annual Gala fundraiser, she and her husband continued praying. They shared this need with churches and ministries. And God moved in a big way. They began receiving several large unsolicited donations, providing the necessary funds for materials and labor to rebuild the orphanage.

As of today, in 2026, Hope for Caribbean provides teachers’ salaries, food, and school supplies to these children. In August this year, your contributions provided 25 new mattresses. We will continue to share more about this orphanage and the school in the mountains, so please:

Thanks to Pastor Wisny, our oversight coordinator, the books and supplies arrived at our school in this mountainous region! 📚✨ And it was no easy journey. From Port-au-Prince to a rented truck, then loaded onto a ship. 🚚⚓ Items were then transferred to a smaller truck, having to make several trips up the mountain. Because of the torrential rain 🌧️, these steps were delayed, but praise God 🙏, after a three-week journey, all books and supplies arrived safely at the school founded by Hope for Caribbean Kids. 🎉
We are grateful to all of you who have donated to our kids in Haiti —may God bless you, may He bless Pastor Wisny for his assistance, and may He bless all the children who can now receive a Christ-centered education for a brighter future. 🌟 Thank you for making a difference!
