Over the weekend, the MAFP Board of Directors came together for a strategic planning retreat focused on the future of family medicine in Missouri.

Guided by member feedback, the Board identified four core values that will shape MAFP's work moving forward: support, community, welcoming, and growth.

Discussions centered on strengthening member connections, enhancing educational experiences, amplifying physician voices, supporting mentorship, and ensuring MAFP remains a place where family physicians can find both professional value and personal renewal.

We are grateful for the leadership, dedication, and thoughtful vision shared throughout the retreat. The resulting strategic framework will help guide MAFP's work in the years ahead as we continue building a stronger, more connected family medicine community across Missouri.

Watch for future opportunities to engage in committees and initiatives that support family physicians and advance the mission of family medicine throughout our state.
