🇸🇻💙 MIDWEEK PRAYER REMINDER — EL SALVADOR MISSIONS TEAM 💙🇸🇻

Our six Hope City missionaries are in El Salvador this week, and while they’re there serving, building relationships, and sharing the love of Christ, we want them to know they are not doing it alone. 🙏

They have an entire church family back home praying for them, cheering them on, and trusting God with every step of their journey. 💙

As you go about your week, would you take a moment to pray specifically for our team?

❤️ Pray for the people they meet — that God would prepare hearts and that every conversation, act of kindness, and relationship would leave someone feeling seen, loved, and encouraged.

🔨 Pray for the work — for strength when they’re tired, wisdom in every decision, safety as they serve, and unity as they work together.

🙏 Pray for our six missionaries — for their health, their hearts, their faith, and their sensitivity to hear and follow wherever God leads them.

🛡️ Pray for protection — over every member of the team, their transportation, their work, and everyone they come into contact with.

✈️ And pray for their journey home — that God would continue to watch over them every mile of the way and bring each of them home safely to the people who love them.

Most of all, pray that God would use them exactly where He has placed them. Pray that His love would be evident in the way they serve, the way they listen, the way they love, and in every person they encounter. ❤️

Thank you, Hope City family, for being part of this mission through your prayers. Your prayers matter. Your support matters. And even from home, you are part of what God is doing in El Salvador. 💙

So this week, let’s keep lifting them up.

⚾💙 WHAT A SEASON! MADE SPECIAL BY AN AMAZING TEAM! ❤️💛

What an incredible Miracle Baseball League season! ⚾✨

To every volunteer who showed up, cheered from the sidelines, encouraged our athletes, lent a helping hand, and gave their time and hearts — THANK YOU! ❤️

You made this season about so much more than baseball. You helped create friendships, celebrated every victory — big and small — shared countless smiles and laughs, and reminded each of our athletes just how valued, supported, and loved they are.

From our player buddies to those serving behind the scenes, every single person played an important part in making this season so special. Your patience, willingness to serve, and genuine enthusiasm helped create a place where our athletes could feel confident, have fun, and truly shine — both on and off the field. 🌟

At Hope City Church, we believe that being the hands and feet of Jesus means showing up, building relationships, serving others, and loving people through our actions. This season, you lived that out beautifully. ❤️

While the games may be coming to an end, the friendships and connections we’ve made don’t have to. 💙 We hope the relationships built this season continue to grow and make an impact long after the final game.

💙 MID-MONTH REMINDER: LET’S KEEP LIGHTING THE WAY!

Can you believe we’re already halfway through the month? We wanted to take a moment to remind our Hope City family about our Missions Offering supporting the Pregnancy Help Center of Central Missouri.

One of the things we love about being part of Hope City is that we get to be the hands and feet of Jesus—not just on Sundays, but right here in our community. ❤️

The Pregnancy Help Center comes alongside women, men, and families who may be facing unexpected or difficult pregnancy-related circumstances. They provide a safe and confidential place to find support, including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, parenting education, material assistance, and connections to helpful community resources.

When we give, we’re doing more than making a donation. We’re helping meet real needs, showing people they aren’t alone, and putting God’s love into action.

🇸🇻 El Salvador Missions Trip | October 17–24

Hope City Missions is excited to send six God loving missionaries to El Salvador with Hope & Horizons as they serve alongside our ministry partners and bring the love of Christ to families in need.

As they prepare to leave, we’re asking our Hope City family to surround them in prayer. 🙏

Things to pray for:

✈️ Safe travel — for protection and smooth travels from beginning to end of their trip.

🏠 The families they will serve — that their work would bring hope, encouragement, and lasting impact.

🔨 The work ahead — for strength, wisdom, teamwork, and safety as they serve.

❤️ Meaningful relationships — that hearts would be open to the love of Christ and genuine connections would be made.

🙏 Our six missionaries — for good health, unity, servant hearts, and sensitivity to God's direction.

✨ God's presence — that He would go before them, work through them, and that He alone receives all the glory.

✨ This trip is about more than building a home. It's about building relationships, sharing hope, serving others, and being the hands and feet of Jesus.

This Veterans Day season, Hope City Missions has an opportunity to BE THE CHURCH by honoring the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Pregnancy Help Center - Jefferson City

At Hope City Church, together we believe that being the Church God has intended for us to be means stepping outside of our four walls and serving people right where they are. ⛪️

The month of October, Hope City Church is honored and privileged to support the Pregnancy Help Center of Central Missouri through our Missions giving. 🙏🏽

Pregnancy Help Center is a local organization who serve women, men, and families facing an unexpected or challenging pregnancy. Their goal is to provide a safe, confidential place where people can receive practical support, information, encouragement, and connections to additional community resources.

Their services include:
🌟Free and confidential pregnancy testing
🌟Ultrasounds
🌟Limited STI testing and treatment
🌟Pregnancy and parenting education
🌟Father-focused support
🌟Material assistance
🌟Referrals to other community resources.

They also provide support to families beyond pregnancy, including:
🌟Parenting
🌟Budgeting
🌟Relationship education
🌟Access to baby supplies through their boutique.

What makes this ministry especially meaningful is that their support doesn't stop with a pregnancy test. They work to walk alongside families during pregnancy and into the early years of parenting, helping connect them with practical resources and encouragement along the way.

This is what it means to BE THE CHURCH.
To love.
To serve.
To encourage.
To meet practical needs.
To shine the LIGHT of Jesus Christ beyond the four walls of our church.

What happens when willing hearts come together to serve the community?

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered for September’s L.I.G.H.T. the Way: Community Meal Outreach, in partnership with Missouri Cares Mobile Soup Kitchen! It’s always a great turnout!

✨ TOGETHER WE FED:

🐈 17 cats

From preparing meals in the kitchen to delivering them to people throughout our community, YOU made a difference in someone’s life. You helped meet practical needs, build relationships, offer encouragement when needed, pray for one another, and remind our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and truly loved. Walking out the gospel one helping hand at a time🙏🏽

This is what it means to take the love of Christ beyond the walls of the church and out into the community of our people.

💛 DIRTY HANDS. WILLING HEARTS. REAL IMPACT.

A huge THANK YOU to the volunteers who came together in August to help two local community members with outdoor projects!

What started as a few hours of moving rocks, pavers, and stones turned into something much bigger—a group of people willing to give their time, energy, and strength simply because someone needed a helping hand.

There were rocks to move, pavers to relocate, cleanup to tackle, and plenty of work to do—but our volunteers showed up and got it done! 💪🪨

Then we moved onto yard clean up moving trees and brush for a second member in our community.

This is CITY L.I.G.H.T. in action:

Love. Integrity. Gratitude. Humility. Teamwork.

Thank you for bringing your tools, rolling up your sleeves, and being willing to serve. You reminded us that ministry doesn't always happen inside a building.

Sometimes it looks like moving a rock for a neighbor. ❤️
