Midwest Devo A regional U18 cycling development team MIDWEST DEVO IS A CENTRAL INDIANA JUNIOR CYCLING TEAM. We welcome riders of any experience between the ages of 8 and 18.

Whether you’ve just learned to ride or are a seasoned racer we’ll help you develop your skills, meet other kids who love riding bikes, maybe start racing, but most importantly have fun on your bike. You don’t need a fancy bike but you do need a helmet. We practice at the Indy Cycloplex (indycycloplex.com) and take part in mountain biking, cyclocross, and track races across the Midwest with some of our riders competing in national championships. Our aim is to encourage the next generation of junior cyclists to love the sport like we do, to be active outdoors, to be part of a team and to give them a great start to a lifetime of cycling. As their skills develop, we want our riders to be well-prepared for collegiate cycling and beyond. If this sounds like you, get in touch or check us out on Facebook. Huge thank you to Devo Board member Beth Gittings for leading the charge to ensure Midwest Devo is as safe for our athletes as possible. Because of her work and the shared commitment of every coach, parent, and student-athlete, Midwest Devo is proud to be recognized as a USA Cycling Safe Sport Gold Level program, the highest level of recognition in USA Cycling Club Safe Sport Program.

This status reflects the policies, training, supervision, and accountability practices we have put in place to help create a safe, positive environment for young athletes.

Earning Gold Level recognition requires a program to go beyond basic Safe Sport compliance and demonstrate strong practices for protecting athletes and creating a healthy youth sport environment.
