We’re thrilled to spotlight pianist Charles Manning ahead of our Summer Cabaret at Fork + Ale this June!

A founding board member of Indianapolis Opera and passionate supporter of the art form, Charles has collaborated on countless productions and outreach programs throughout his career. Audiences may also know him from his wildly popular Piano Pizzazz! YouTube channel, which has reached viewers in more than 82 countries worldwide.

Meet tenor Will Upham - one of the featured artists taking the stage at our Summer Cabaret at Fork + Ale this June!

Praised for his “full-bodied” sound and compelling performances, Will has appeared with companies including Indianapolis Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, and Union Avenue Opera. Indianapolis audiences may recognize him from West Side Story, Tosca, The Magic Flute, and our 50th Anniversary Concert celebration with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.

"Crescendo Vocal Arts Camp gave me so much confidence in moving forward in musical theater!" That’s what former camper Ransom Reynolds had to say after spending a week training with Indianapolis Opera.

At Crescendo!, students ages 13–18 receive personalized instruction in voice, acting, movement, diction, musical theater, and audition preparation - all while building friendships with fellow young performers who share their passion for the arts!

This summer, Indianapolis Opera heads to Fork + Ale Houses for a cabaret celebrating American composers — and featured soloist Ian Michael is helping lead the evening!

An Indianapolis native, Ian has performed throughout Indiana in concert, opera, and musical theater productions, including Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Ragtime, and Rigoletto. His dynamic artistry and rich bass-baritone voice make him the perfect addition to this unforgettable summer event.
