Kids’ Voice is proud to recognize and congratulate two of our staff members, Lisa Joachim and Marisa Crouse! 🎉

Lisa has been selected to the 2027 Indiana Super Lawyers® list, while Marisa has been selected to the 2027 Indiana Rising Stars® list.

Lisa is an attorney in our Parenting Coordination (PC) Clinic and serves as the PC Clinic Manager. Marisa is a custody attorney in our CLCI program.

The Super Lawyers distinction is awarded to no more than 5% of attorneys in Indiana, while the Rising Stars distinction is awarded to no more than 2.5%.

We’re grateful for the leadership, dedication, and advocacy Lisa and Marisa bring to their work. Please join us in congratulating them on this outstanding achievement! 🧡

For some families, maintaining a connection takes more than just wanting to spend time together. It can take access to the right support and a safe, welcoming place to connect.

For Sherron, one of the meaningful parts of working in Kids’ Voice’s Supervised Parenting Time (SPT) Program is helping make those connections possible for families who may have limited resources or other barriers to spending time together.

SPT isn’t only needed by families involved in the DCS system. Families facing other challenges may also need a safe, child-friendly and supportive setting to maintain or rebuild their relationships.

For Sherron, this work is about helping families have the opportunity to maintain or rebuild those parent-child bonds in a setting where children feel safe, supported and at the center, because every child deserves the opportunity to maintain meaningful connections.

We’re still feeling grateful for everyone who joined us for Kickoff for Kids’ Voice 2026 and helped make the evening so special. Thanks to the generous support of so many, we raised important funds to support our programs and mission. This impact will help us create better outcomes for children and youth in our community!

Throwing it back to a previous Kickoff for Kids’ Voice! 🏈

This is what a night at Kickoff looks like, and we’re getting ready to do it all over again in just 8 days! All four Colts tight ends, Mo Alie-Cox, Tyler Warren, Drew Ogletree and Will Mallory, will be there, along with great food, an open bar, auctions and a whole lot of fun!

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day, and September is National Su***de Prevention Month.

Every child deserves a safe space to express their feelings, ask for help, and know that someone is listening. At Kids’ Voice, we advocate for children and youth who may be navigating serious mental health challenges, trauma, abuse, or neglect. We know how important it is for children to have the support and services they need to feel safe, heard, and supported. 💜

Our CASA and GAL volunteers play an important role in that support. They build relationships with the children they serve, listen to their experiences, speak up for their needs, and help connect them with the resources and services that can make a difference.

This year's World Su***de Prevention Day theme is “Changing the Narrative on Su***de,” with a call to “Start the Conversation.” We can all help create environments where children and youth feel safe talking about what they're experiencing and asking for help when they need it.
