At Women’s Foundation of Indiana, we know the work of building an Indiana where all women and girls can exercise full power must center the experiences and leadership of Black women and girls.

Today, we honor the generations who fought for freedom and the communities still carrying that work forward.

Women’s Foundation of Indiana staff were grateful to celebrate love, joy and community at the Indy Pride parade.

Our mission is rooted in the belief that women, girls and nonbinary people deserve to live fully and freely in all the ways they show up in the world. Pride is a reminder that belonging and safety are essential to that future.

OPTIONS Alumnae came together for a volunteer session with I Support the Girls to sort donations from Woxer and other bra and underwear brands for women and girls in Indianapolis.

We are excited to be partnering with the Women’s Foundation of Indiana to co-host a Women's Listening Circle on Thursday, July 16th. We would love for you to join this community conversation to:
-Share experiences and priorities related to what women and girls need to thrive
-Lift up local ideas, resources, and the people already doing the work
-Participate in facilitated conversation and help inform the Women's Foundation's statewide agenda

We are inviting adults (18+) who identify as women or feel comfortable in women-centered spaces. While we welcome women from all backgrounds, we are prioritizing those whose voices are often underrepresented and would appreciate your help in spreading the word. Refreshments will be served.

Yesterday, we gathered with women in South Bend at the Charles Martin Youth Center for our second Women’s Listening Circle.

Only two stops into our 11-city statewide listening tour, one thing is already clear: women across Indiana are showing up.

The energy in South Bend was palpable. We’re so grateful to everyone who spent part of their day with us, shared honestly and helped us better understand what women and girls in this community need to thrive.

A special thank you to our partners at Imani and Unidad Inc. and Charles Martin Youth Center for welcoming us, helping us connect with the South Bend community and creating such a warm space for conversation.
