Senior Alert 😍

Sully found himself homeless ( and in desperate need of a haircut ) in one of our rural Kentucky shelter partners. Sully is also over 5, so in order to get him neutered, the vet office required pre-surgical bloodwork.
We’re thankful Sully is now heading to rescue, where he will never sleep on a Shelter floor again, never want for food, we have a great grooming session, and will be with his Forever family!

His cost of vetting was $300

UPDATE- COVERED ! Thanks everyone!!

Lilly Lou was let outside months ago when her parents were incarcerated. We trapped her and she was immediately sweet as pie. She has waited patiently and her turn has finally came, she can leave for rescue TOMORROW!!

Since coming in she was vaccinated, spayed, heartworm and other tick disease tested, provided preventatives all under the care of the Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter

We do need to reimburse them for that, a total of $125. A small price to pay for a life of happiness for this very sweet girl that deserves it

Can 12 friends send $10?

ONE BY ONE RESCUE RUN 🐾
Now it’s time for the dogs!
Dogs 🐕 Round One

We just shared the cats and kittens who made it to rescue over the past several weeks. Now it’s the dogs’ turn—with one special rabbit included, too. ❤️🐰

Our shelters have been bursting at the seams during kitten and puppy season, and we’ve been so busy helping animals that we got behind on sharing these success stories.

In the last 6+ weeks, 156 dogs and puppies and 1 rabbit have safely left for rescue.

Among them were scared dogs like Heath, bonded pairs like Dame Judy and Oakie who needed to stay together, medical cases like Olive, who underwent orthopedic surgery and recovered before leaving for rescue, and siblings Derek and Julianne, who battled mange on their way to brighter futures. There was also Red, who got his second chance after being accidentally loaded onto transport instead of Fred—and when the mistake was discovered, the rescue chose to let him stay. We helped moms raising puppies in crowded shelters, entire litters waiting for their opportunity to leave shelter life behind, and so many animals whose futures looked uncertain until a rescue stepped forward.

Every transport takes teamwork—vetting, fosters, rescue coordination, drivers, fundraising, and countless volunteer hours.

Most importantly, every one of these lives represents what your support makes possible.

Thank you for helping us move animals from overcrowded shelters into safety, healing, and second chances. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

If you’ve ever donated, fostered, transported, volunteered, or shared a post, you’re part of these success stories. Drop a ❤️ if you’ve helped save a life.

369 lives in just over six weeks. 147 cats and kittens. 221 dogs and puppies. 1 rabbit. One by One Animal Advocates was the bridge from homelessness to hope —and none of it would have been possible without your support. ❤️🐾

ONE BY ONE RESCUE RUN
Cats 🐈 Round One!

Our shelters across the region are absolutely bursting right now as we are deep in kitten and puppy season, along with ongoing owner surrenders. It’s been all hands on deck, and in the rush of transport work, we got behind on sharing the animals who have already made it out to rescue.

So this week, we’re catching up by sharing recent transports in two groups—cats first, then dogs later today.

In just the last six weeks, 147 cats and kittens have been safely moved into rescue. Many have already been adopted into loving homes 💛

Behind each one is a lot of coordination—vetting, foster placement, transport routes and drivers, rescue communication, photos and records, and fundraising for vet care, food, litter, and fuel. It’s constant work, and it only happens together.

Every one of these 147 lives is community support in action. Your donations directly move animals from overcrowded shelters into safety and second chances.
