Matthew is honored each month to be asked to reflect on the work we do for caregivers and their loved ones as they navigate life’s physical and mental changes. These stories remind us that caregiving is more than support—it’s connection, resilience, and finding joy in unexpected places. From a laugh over a puzzle piece to the wind in a rider’s hair, small victories become lifelines. You can read his latest reflection in the June issue of the St. Croix ADRC's newsletter - We hope you enjoy it.

When less isn’t less—it’s exactly what’s needed. There’s a quiet truth we’re learning again and again at Day Away—simple is not small.

We see you. We accept you. We celebrate you.

We won’t hide our pride for you!

As today starts Pride month, Limitless Cycling not only embraces diversity in June but everyday. People coming together in love and friendship, to show how far inclusiveness has come, and how in some places there’s still work to be done.

Diversity is the balance of different cultures, races, sexes, religion, appearance, sexual orientation, disabilities, and many more things. It’s the ability to look at someone else and to realize they are different but not treat as they are. Diversity is a way of saying “Yes! I know you’re different from me, but I accept it!”

Diversity enriches us, equity drives us, inclusion strengthens us, accessibility empowers us, and belonging binds us. Together, we make the outdoors a place for all.

Not all trails are accessible to everyone… but we believe the outdoors should be. ❤️

That’s why Limitless Cycling will be partnering with Belwin Conservancy during Weekend at the Wetlands to provide all-terrain Trackchair experiences for individuals with mobility challenges.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore beautiful woodland, wetland, and prairie trails that may otherwise be difficult to access — because everyone deserves the chance to experience nature, fresh air, and connection outdoors.

If you or someone you love could benefit from this experience, we invite you to join us weather permitting.

What we do is simple yet profound: We help people get outside — those who never thought they could, and those who thought they never would again. 🌿♿

Scouting today. Endorsing tomorrow. A beautiful ride through the St. Croix Valley with accessibility in mind.

When organizations invite us to scout their routes, we take that responsibility seriously.

Recently, our friends at the Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club invited Limitless Cycling to review and ride their 25-mile Valley Loop in advance of this year’s Bridge the Valley Bike Rally event on Sunday August 9. We are happy to report that this route earns our enthusiastic endorsement as an adaptive bicycle-friendly ride.

What impressed us most wasn’t just the scenery—although the views throughout the St. Croix Valley are spectacular. It was the intentionality behind the route design. The organizers thoughtfully selected a gentle grade profile, wide riding areas, and a welcoming course that can be enjoyed by riders of varying abilities and experience levels, including those using adaptive bicycles.

The ride begins at the historic Stillwater Lift Bridge, winds through beautiful river valley landscapes, and concludes with a gradual descent back into downtown Stillwater.

Accessibility doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when organizers take the time to think about who might be participating and intentionally create opportunities for everyone to enjoy the experience.

From our perspective, the Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club has done exactly that.

If you’ve been looking for a scenic, approachable, and adaptive-friendly cycling event, this is one worth considering.

🌟Premier Sponsor Spotlight: First State Bank and Trust🌟

At Limitless Cycling, inclusion isn’t just a goal—it’s how we roll. 🚴‍♀️ And thanks to the generous support of our Premier Sponsor, First State Bank and Trust, we’re able to bring even more adaptive cycling adventures to our communities.

From scenic trail rides to moments of pure joy and connection, their partnership helps us break down barriers and open up the outdoors to everyone—regardless of age, ability, or mobility.

💛 Thank you, First State Bank and Trust, for believing in the power of possibility and helping us pedal toward a more inclusive tomorrow.

Friday’s “someone called in a favor” story was about far more than a bicycle. 🇺🇸❤️🚲

A visually impaired veteran needed to upgrade his bike, so Matthew loaded up the trailer and headed to the Minneapolis VA with our Van Raam Fun2Go.

Working with the Minneapolis VA team again was incredible and humbling. Their dedication to veterans goes far beyond appointments and paperwork — you can feel how deeply they care about helping people regain independence, confidence, and connection. Every time we partner with them, we’re reminded how meaningful this work truly is and how many lives are impacted when people come together with a shared purpose.

What we didn’t expect was how small and connected this world really is.

The veteran and his mom are from River Falls and immediately knew the Rudesill family, who we previously helped connect with an OPair adaptive bicycle. They also knew our friends at The Garage Bikes + Brews.

Before they left, his mom gave Matthew a big hug.

Not because of a bike. Because someone showed up.

That’s the part people miss sometimes. Adaptive equipment matters. Accessibility matters. But at the center of all of it is human connection.

What we do is simple yet profound:We help people get outside. Those who never thought they would, and those who thought they never would again
