We are dedicated to supporting families, youth, and individuals in Washington County experiencing housing instability. St.

We don't provide housing or shelter, but we can help you connect with resources and organizations that may be able to help. Croix Family Resource Center is now doing business as The Connect Center (TCC). Our programs have been serving neighbors in need through Stillwater Family Resource Center of Episcopal Community Services and Ascend since 1997. Together, the founders of TCC have more than 60 years of experience providing services for disadvantaged neighbors in the St. Croix River Valley and Washington County areas. By partnering with local agencies, TCC helps clients make healthy community connections for a more secure life. TCC supports clients as they identify and work toward their long term goals for their finances, education, employment, transportation, housing, family and parenting skills and other areas of life.

A couple of our team members had a blast representing The Connect Center at yesterday’s Washington County Chamber Coalition Business Boost at Top Golf! ⛳️

We spent the afternoon soaking in awesome insights from guest speakers on everything from generational communication to student workforce collaboration. And of course, we had to hit the bays after the presentations to work on our swing! Driving connections—and a few golf balls—made for a fantastic afternoon.

Huge thanks to the coalition chambers for putting together such a fun, collaborative event!

Important community resource from Washington County, MN Government! Learn how to recognize an overdose and save a life at this upcoming free naloxone training. Free kits are provided, check out the post below for details and registration!

With the support of Washington County opioid settlement funding, The Center of Addiction & Faith is hosting a free naloxone training. Participants will learn how to recognize an opioid overdose, administer naloxone, and respond until emergency help arrives.

The training is on Saturday, October 10 from 9:30-11 a.m. at Elim Lutheran Church in Scandia. It is open to all, and naloxone kits will be provided to attendees at no cost. Register at www.mcrproject.net/naloxone-training.

Meet Veronica — Another One of Our Three TCC Interns!

Veronica is pursuing her associate’s degree in psychology at Century College. She’s passionate about understanding people and finding ways to support others.

She’s excited to gain hands-on experience at TCC while growing personally and professionally. Outside of school, Veronica enjoys reading, cooking, and baking!

Meet Alexis, intern with The Connect Center!

Alexis is finishing her final semester at Century College and will transfer to Metro State to earn her bachelor’s degree in social work. She’s excited to give back to the community she grew up in while gaining experience supporting youth and working alongside advocates. Outside of school, Alexis enjoys spending time with family, walking her dog Alfie, and trying new dinner recipes!

Meet Derek, one of three interns joining us at The Connect Center this fall.

Derek is finishing his psychology degree at Century College, with certificates in mental & behavioral health and creative writing. He’s supporting TCC with advocacy, administrative work, and mentoring in our after-school program.
