Teacher Appreciation Week
The Houlton Parent Association (HPA) is collecting $5 gift cards from area businesses to then be distributed to staff during Teacher Appreciation week (May 6-10). If you are able and willing to donate a gift card or two, we would appreciate it! The gift cards can be from any nearby business- coffee, gas stations, etc. Gift card donations can be dropped off in the office during open hours until Tuesday, May 7. Thank you!

Bazaar 2024 Kick-Off Meeting

The Houlton Bazaar is a longstanding tradition in the community and our one and only fundraiser each year. To keep this tradition going, we are in need of some people to join the Bazaar Planning Committee. Our kick-off meeting is Tuesday, May 14th at 6:30 PM. There will be prints of this painting of Houlton School for sale at STEAM Night, March 5.

The artist, Rita McDonald, lived in the Town of St. Joseph, and her children attended Houlton School. She has kindly given us the right to make prints of her original watercolor painting of Houlton School.

SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE FORUM:
HPA is coordinating a School Board Candidate Forum along with several other school parent groups. This is a great opportunity to meet and ask questions of candidates that will be on the ballot on April 2nd.

Tuesday March 19th from 6-8pm
High School Auditorium

!PAPER!
Ms. Blohm (Art/Media Teacher) is in need of paper. Kids are allowed free draw time at the end of art class, and our eager artists have quickly drained the paper budget. Donations can be dropped off in the office. Recyclable, one-sided paper will work great. Thank you!
