Great food. Great energy. And a whole lot of powerful connections being made.

At today’s St. Croix Valley Girls meeting, Maren Valentine from the UW–River Falls Small Business Development Center led us through a hands-on exercise on crafting the perfect elevator pitch.

And let me tell you… this was not the awkward “Hi my name is…” networking pitch most of us have suffered through.

We worked on how to clearly explain what we do, who we help, and why it matters so that when opportunity shows up, we’re ready for it.

Because networking isn’t about handing out business cards. It’s about being understood.

Thank you to the St. Croix Valley Business Innovation Center for hosting us in your beautiful space and to Carrie Nasi and Celeste Kennedy-Boles for the fantastic lunch!

We heard you.

After listening to feedback and taking a hard look at what best supports the experience we want to create, we’ve decided to move our meetings back to the St. Croix Valley Business Innovation Center.

Starting with our March 5 meeting, and for all future meetings, St. Croix Valley Girls will gather at:

1094 Sutherland Avenue, River Falls, WI

At the end of the day, our goal is to provide a professional, business-focused environment that reflects the caliber of women in this community. The Innovation Center aligns beautifully with that vision, and we’re excited to be back in a space that supports growth, collaboration, and big conversations.

Thank you for your input, your honesty, and your continued support. This group has always been built by strong women who care about doing things well, and we’re proud of that.
