Florida passed a law requiring every one of its 67 school districts to provide annual autism training for teachers and school administrators, effective July 1, 2026. The training is built with guidance from regional Centers for Autism and Related Disabilities and covers areas like communication support, behavior strategies, and inclusive teaching. The bill had no opposition votes in either chamber of the state legislature. Does your child's school already do something like this, and has it made a difference?
