It was a busy week at Kids’ Meals, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 💙

So many Hunger Heroes came through our doors to spend part of their week with us, filling our volunteer room and preparing meals for little ones across Houston.

We loved having you here. Thank you to everyone who volunteered with us this week!

Hunger Action Month may be coming to a close, but the impact of every action taken this September continues. 🧡

To every person who volunteered, decorated a lunch bag, donated, attended an event, or simply shared our mission: thank you.

Every action helps make it possible for Kids’ Meals to continue delivering free, healthy meals directly to the doorsteps of preschool-aged children facing hunger across our community.

This month showed what’s possible when our community takes action together. We’re so grateful you’re part of it. ☺️ If you haven't taken action yet, there's still time! Find out how: https://kidsmealsinc.org/take-action/

Our Hunger Heroes continue to show what can happen when our community comes together for Houston’s little ones! 🧡

This week, volunteers helped prepare the free, healthy meals delivered directly to the homes of preschool-aged children across our community.

We’re also grateful for partners like Lily’s Toy Box and Help Me Grow Gulf Coast for joining us to provide resources for our families and toys for their little ones. Together, we’re creating moments of care that extend beyond the meal bag and help families break the poverty cycle.

There are only a few days left to take action during Hunger Action Month.

For thousands of preschool-aged children across Houston, access to healthy food isn’t always guaranteed. Your gift to Kids’ Meals helps deliver free, healthy meals directly to the doorsteps of children facing hunger.

A $10 donation provides 5 meals and ensures Houston’s little ones have the nutrition they need to grow and thrive.

Make your gift before Hunger Action Month ends on Sept. 30. 🧡 https://kidsmealsinc.org/give/

There are a lot of moving pieces behind every meal we deliver, and thankfully, we don’t have to do it alone. 🧡

Day after day, volunteers walk through our doors and help prepare the thousands of meals that are delivered to preschool-aged children facing hunger across Houston.

This week’s Hunger Heroes brought their time, energy, and willingness to help, and we’re so grateful they chose to spend it with us.

There’s always room for more at the table. Sign up to volunteer today and join the Hunger Hero family! https://kidsmealsinc.org/take-action/volunteer/

Why should you volunteer? Because more than 100,000 preschool-aged children across Houston are facing food insecurity.

Every volunteer shift helps Kids’ Meals deliver more than 13,000 free, healthy meals each weekday directly to the homes of children who may not know where their next meal is coming from.

And your impact is immediate. The meals you pack during your shift will be delivered to a child within just 24–48 hours.

Sign up to volunteer today and be the reason 13,000+ children have a meal tomorrow. 🧡🍎

TDECU & the Houston Texans took over Kids’ Meals! 🏈❤️

Both teams came together for the TDECU Red Zone Kickoff Event, celebrating the start of the 2026 NFL season and another year of making an impact for Houston’s little ones.

This season, every time the Texans enter the Red Zone, TDECU will donate $300 to Kids’ Meals, turning big moments on the field into moments of hope for children facing hunger across our community.

Thank you, TDECU and the Houston Texans, for kicking off the season with us and continuing to show up for Houston’s little ones!

It’s your team’s turn to takeover! Schedule your takeover day today using the link in our bio. ☺️
