Friday night was all purple at Rice Volleyball. 💜

For the third year, Coach Genny Volpe and the Rice Owls hosted Alzheimer's Awareness Night to support the Alzheimer's Association through Do What You Love to End ALZ.

The team wore purple on the court, sold RFND (Rice Fight Never Dies) Alz shirts and invited fans to give.

ICYMI: Thank you, KFDM News, for sharing the heart of our Walk to End Alzheimer's in Beaumont.

We were grateful for Morning Show anchor Angel San Juan emceeing the Promise Garden Ceremony and walking with Team Beba in memory of his mother.

Beaumont native and former longtime NFL player Bob Pollard was honored as this year's blue flower, representing a person living with Alzheimer's or another dementia. Bob, thank you for your courage and conviction to help find a cure and end this disease.
