Texas’ large and booming economy makes it the perfect place to develop UK business. 🌎💼

Today The Rt. Hon. Sir Conor Burns MP, the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to the US 🇺🇸 came to visit with Texas leaders to lead the UK-Texas Statement of Mutual Cooperation.

His Majesty’s Consul General Richard Hyde was their to participate in conversations geared toward identifying opportunities to strengthen and improve the UK-TX economic relationship.

This is a pivotal time for trade relations. We look forward to hearing more from these talks and seeing what the future has in store.

The S&P Global and ExxonMobil Energy Outlook 2023 was an excellent way to complete the BABC Texas business program for the year.

Thank you to Ryan Krueger, ExxonMobil and Kurt Barrow, S&P Global for sharing your expert insights into the energy sector's future, and to Mark Eramo for doing an excellent job moderating the session.

Our speakers covered a variety of information that impacts everyone, regardless of industry sector. With a population expected to increase by 2 billion by 2050, an awareness of energy shifts is necessary.

As nations and businesses work to meet growing energy demands and create sustainable technology, one thing is for certain, our world will have to rapidly adapt and innovate.

And while there is no one clear path towards net zero, we can expect collaboration and partnerships from industry and policy makers to meet our changing needs and reduce carbon emissions.
