Volunteer Houston was founded in 1974 and is the Points of Light affiliate in Houston and a program of IM Houston.

🎒 Volunteers Needed: Help Assemble 20,000 Backpacks for Houston Students!

The Houston Food Bank is seeking volunteers to help prepare 20,000 backpacks for the Mayor’s 16th Annual Back to School Fest.

Each backpack will be filled with essential school supplies, educational materials, and community resources to help Houston-area students begin the school year feeling prepared, supported, and ready to succeed.
