A big thank you to Leadership Lake Houston for hosting today’s nonprofit informational meeting at The Village Centers! 💙

We were honored to join InspireND and Bloom in sharing our missions and helping community leaders and business owners better understand the IDD community and the nonprofits working alongside them.

Adults with IDD want the same things we all do, to work, contribute, build relationships, make choices, and live life to the fullest. Our nonprofits help make those opportunities possible and support individuals in living more independent, meaningful lives.

💡 Business leaders: Think outside the box! Consider how adults with IDD can contribute to your workplace. Open your doors, create opportunities, and help us build a truly inclusive community where everyone belongs.

Our IDD community is not on the sidelines—they are an important part of the fabric of our community. 💙💚🩷

At The Village Centers, providing the highest quality of care isn’t just a goal—it’s our daily commitment across all 5 of our group homes.

Through this hands-on training, our team refined their practical skills, enhanced their specialized care techniques, and mastered the latest best practices in supporting our residents.

A huge thank you to our dedicated DSPs for their continuous hard work, empathy, and passion. Thank you to our RNs for hosting the training. Because of our team’s commitment to growth, our residents continue to thrive in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment!
