Sunday Fun at Stages Theatre!

Spending a Sunday afternoon at Stages Theatre is never dull! Members in attendance laughed their way through another great interactive performance.

This time: Late Nite Catechism Las Vegas: Sister Rolls the Dice! in the ever-popular series of Sister plays.

The Education and Culture Group is committed to bringing you a diverse mix of programming, ranging from helpful, thought-provoking sessions to moments of pure, hilarious frivolity. There is truly something for everyone!

752 New Uniforms Donated! Thanks to You!

With deepest thanks and gratitude to all our donors, we are elated to announce the successful completion of our 2026 School Uniform Drive resulting in the collection, purchase, and delivery of a total 752 new assorted uniform items to 5 deserving Title 1 Part A participating area HISD schools: Clemente Martinez and Jefferson Elementary Schools, Gregory-Lincoln PK-8 Education Center, and Hamilton and Marshall Middle Schools. The need at these schools remains seriously substantial, and we are honored to help make a difference thanks to your generosity.

Special recognition and our heartfelt thanks go to our dedicated School Uniform Drive Co-Chairs and our expert purchasing volunteer who assisted throughout the process.

Our profound appreciation also extends to H-E-B®, our multi-year sponsor and valued partner.

A heartfelt thank you to our White Linen Night Chair and all of our creative and talented volunteers for making this year's event such a delightful success!

We also want to extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who purchased tickets and attended, fully getting into the spirit of WLN and most appropriately dressed in their finest white linen. As refreshing beverages were sipped and conversations flowed, it was a truly lovely evening, providing the perfect elegant yet casual antidote to the heat and humidity of the outdoor celebrations within the serene cooling surroundings of our historic 1912 Clubhouse.

What a memorable afternoon at our Summer General Meeting.

We were captivated by our guest speaker, fellow Club member and Regent of the Brazos Valley Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. She shared the fascinating story of her 6th great-grandmother, the teenaged spy Dicey Langston, providing us with a uniquely personal, engaging look into history.

We also want to thank the DAR Registrar for driving her fabulously decorated Art Car to the Clubhouse. What a delightfully creative nod to this 250th birthday year!
Our sincere appreciation goes to our faithful Hospitality Team and supporting volunteers for the lovely decor inside and out, which included a festive red, white, and blue food theme that made for a very welcoming and refreshing setting.

Finally, thank you to all the members and guests who attended and contributed to such a pleasant afternoon.
