Deeds Not Words Hi! We’re Deeds Not Words, a community of fighting for a brighter ✨ Texas for YOUth. 💜 Deeds Not Words: More than a motto. A movement. Through deeds.

Throughout history, women have united for change: from suffragettes joined by their motto “Deeds Not Words,” to the women of the 1960s and ‘70s demanding equal pay and reproductive rights, to today’s torchbearers working to end college sexual assault and secure equal rights in the workplace, once and for all. It’s a new era of equality, and we want to help young women get involved. Deeds Not Words connects passionate women to resources, policy-making tools, and each other. We’re working together to push progress forward—not through talk.

Happy National Voter Registration Day! 🗳️

This , we want to remind you that Texans know that real freedom means being able to make our own decisions, provide for our families, and know our voice matters. But lately, many of us aren’t feeling very free at all. 😐

Corrupt politicians are making it so that we can’t for ourselves what’s best for our own lives. They put the needs of big corporations and the opinions of wealthy donors over our freedoms. 👎🏽

should work for the people who live here, not just the people with the most money and influence. We need leaders who will make it so that all Texans have the freedom to live good lives. This November, we’ll be voting to make that happen. ✨

Last week was so much fun! 🥳 Thank you to everyone that came by to our Decade of Deeds celebration. 🎉

We reminisced about the organization’s start and reaffirmed our commitment for the next 10 years. We couldn’t have made it this far without your support. 🥹

For YOUth, we will continue to persevere through what out-of-touch politicians and billionaires throw at us. Through community, we aim to help one another. 💜
