We are a foster based rescue with no facility. Cypress Lucky Mutt Rescue is a Cypress, TX based dog rescue established in 2013. We cannot take in abandoned animals unless there is a foster home available and do not have a shelter facility. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all donations are tax deductible. 🍝❤️ Introducing Meatball! ❤️🍝

This round, chunky little guy earned the name Meatball because he’s the perfect finishing touch!

Meatball is a 9-week-old Pittie mix weighing 12 lbs, and he’s equal parts cuddle bug and playful puppy. You can usually find him snoring on top of his favorite human or romping around the backyard with his brother.

Meatball is currently working on his leash training and is doing very well, unless he decides halfway through that he'd rather take a break in the shade and pretend he can't hear you. Selective hearing? Absolutely. 🙂‍↕️

But all that aside, Meatball is a wonderful companion. He is great with children and loves to match their playful energy. He’s still a little unsure about cats—he prefers to stand at a respectful distance and bark his opinions from afar. He also doesn’t love being picked up. Apparently, he’s a strong, independent boy who insists he can get where he’s going on his own.

Meatball is doing great with crate training and sleeps through the night without any accidents. He's sweet, playful, cuddly, and ready to find a family of his very own.

Look into those eyes and you can see a past she is ready to leave far behind. At just around 3 years old, this beautiful Doberman has already been through the absolute worst of it. It is clear she has been overbred and, when she was no longer deemed useful, she was most likely discarded and dumped.

🏡 What She Needs in a Foster Home:
Because she’s likely spent her entire life being used for profit rather than being loved as a pet, the world inside a home may be brand new to her. She needs a patient foster family who can give her a soft place to land, a routine, and the time to realize she never has to worry about being abandoned again. She is dog- and cat-friendly, making her the perfect addition to a household with existing pets!

Hi there my name is Baloo, and I'm an 8-week-old Blue Heeler mix. They called me Baloo because I enjoy being pampered by my foster mom and love the simple things in life. When we go out on the trails, she carries me on her shirt so I can enjoy the view. I love to play with everyone; I wrestle with my sister all the time and the bigger dogs as well.

I like toys and my favorite time of the day is when dinner is served 😉. I'm ready to find my own family that will love me forever.

Baloo has two rounds of vaccines, is microchipped and will be neutered and get his rabies vaccine through our rescue at an appropriate age.

Showcasing Mark Anthony! Mark is a 3-year-old Dalmatian looking for a soft spot to land and family to love him forever. This sweet boy has been rehomed twice; sadly, he just has not found the right home.

Mark can be timid and reserved at first and can be fearful of men until he learns he can trust them. Once he knows he is safe, his playful and fun side shines!! He is dog & cat friendly; he is also kid friendly with kids who respect his space. He is kennel and potty trained and loves to play outside with other dogs and toys. He has a calm demeanor, LOVES to go for walks, and is a champion snuggler!

This sweet boy is looking for a patient home that understands dalmatians' temperaments and will give him the time and space to understand he is safe and loved. Given the right environment, we know this guy will blossom into a great furry family member.

SEEKING FOSTER AND/OR ADOPTER!! This sweet, playful girl was returned to us from her owners with very little notice or time to find her a foster home so she is still in boarding.

Remi is a 2-year-old female pitbull mix who is very active, playful, and incredibly sweet. She is kennel trained and house broken. She does well around dogs with proper introductions and loves to play! Remi would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise, attention, and love.
