Thanks to one of our members for saving a life.

Yesterday, HPD Lt. J. Martin entered a restaurant to grab a quick bite to eat. As he was walking past a table he saw a female unable to breath and choking. While everyone around her began to panic, Lt. Martin moved quickly and performed the Heimlich maneuver, successfully clearing her airway.

She and her grateful family shared she was celebrating her recent retirement. We wish her a long, healthy retirement.
