One of the best parts of the week after a few days of rain is the explosion of rain lilies! These Zephyranthes are stunning when in large groups, turning what looked like an empty expanse of grass into a glorious field of lily blooms.

Hey, everyone! We have returned to Kickerillo Mischer Preserve to remove more Chinese Tallow trees and other invasive, exotic vegetation. This run will be along the southern shoreline of Marshall Lake. That is where we left off before, along the boyscout trail and small arboretum. It ends today! If you have time to visit, contact us or Eric Ruckstuhl or just come out and see!
And for those who always say it… Don’t worry—there’s a whole replacement plan in place. We don’t just remove stuff and hope for the best.
