It represents everything our family experienced.
And it represents every child and family who has faced childhood cancer.

With the first weeks of school underway for many, James 1 is a wonderful reminder that, no matter our age or stage of life, we can always seek guidance and knowledge from God as we face all that each day may bring.

The truth that we are not called to complain, but rather to be thankful in all circumstances, can be a hard reality to live out daily. This week, when the inconveniences of life—spilled coffee, stepping on Legos, sitting in traffic—occur, let them remind us that every inconvenience is an opportunity to remember the abundant goodness of God. We can still run to Jesus in prayer, asking Him to change our circumstances, while also finding contentment, joy, and hope in His steadfast love.

As thousands of students headed back to school today, we are incredibly grateful to wrap up our Packed with Love School Supply Drive by delivering our remaining backpacks to the hospital’s dedicated social workers. 🎒❤️
They’ll make sure these backpacks reach the extra-special kiddos who need them most!
