Dr. Thomas Moody recognized that improving prostate cancer outcomes in Alabama would require more than excellent clinical care. It would also require public education, legislative advocacy, community partnerships, and a sustained commitment to reaching men with limited access to healthcare.
Under his leadership, the Urology Health Foundation has provided over 20,000 free cancer screening visits across 23 Alabama counties while also helping patients overcome barriers to transportation and follow-up care.
